Wide open spaces and views for miles too (obviously!) but that will happen in time. I'm never taking anything for granted again! For now, I'm just going to ogle the many photos I take of our family adventures, thankful that family and friends remain well, plan future adventures (I'm thinking one heck of a multi day hike!!) and plan tomorrows walk from the house. This morning, it couldn't have been better, with blue skies for miles and views to snowy hills in the distance. A great day for talking things over as a family and bagging third hill for my 40 hill challenge! It was so busy, we inevitably got questions about time off school and how much better it was to be outdoors. Sure, except here's the thing. We home educate our eldest and have done for going on three years. He wasn't too shy in saying he was home educated and I braced myself for the usual questions and snarky comments though they didn't come this time... Getting outdoors on a week day is nothing new to us. Not being able to go to the groups, clubs, libraries, museums etc and meet ups with friends is! This isn't the home ed we're used to and it's taking time for us to adjust to this too!
