I think this past weekend could well be one of our I think this past weekend could well be one of our most epic adventures to date! A 50 miles in 2 days challenge sounded like a bonkers thing to attempt a few months ago when we first signed up to it, but it was all for a charity close to our hearts. I don't think I'll ever be able to put in to words how fantastic brainstrust have been since my dad's brain tumour diagnosis last year and their ongoing support. Everyone on the walk was amazing and we couldn't have done it without the volunteers helping us out along the way 💞 I'm a slow walker, so we set off earlier and were lucky to catch beautiful sunrises along the Fife coast, before being spoilt by the views, it was stunning! We ended the walk in St Andrews yesterday, meeting our boys and my parents at the beach before walking up to the finish point together. After all the self-doubt and aches and pains, I still can't quite believe we did it! Our feet are definitely paying for it now but it was such a great weekend, and one we're not going to forget in a hurry 🐌🥾🥴😅 #anoutdoorsfamily #followtheseagulls #fifecoastalpath

What an adventure! A 10km bimble, exploring Loch What an adventure! A 10km bimble, exploring Loch Tay by canoe, kayak and paddleboard with one of the best wildcamping spots we've found! We saw the sunset over the mountains at one end of the loch, and the following morning, the colours from the sunrise made the tent glow. We got out to the hills today for a mini explorati We got out to the hills today for a mini exploration at the Bunnet Stane in Fife, a mushroom shaped sandstone formation carved out by the weather over thousands of years, which was very cool to see, especially all the layers too! Finally made it to Loch Callater today, about 5 ye Finally made it to Loch Callater today, about 5 years after we first headed over that way with our son, but never made it.... it was one of those days and we only got about half way before deciding it was better to rewrite the day and stopped to play by the rivers edge, throwing stones in instead... Today started off looking like a re-run, but we got there 🎉🎉🎉 and it's beautiful! This morning started as one of those days - where This morning started as one of those days - where we were all pulling in different directions, getting grumpy and very close to not even trying to get out the door... Two hours later than we intended to leave the house by, but I'm so glad we eventually got out! This one asked for a big bike ride this morning, s This one asked for a big bike ride this morning, so we headed to Loch Leven to bash out 12 miles 🚲 Me and Keith are stepping up the training for next month's fundraiser 😱 That's coming round fast!! 50 miles in 2 days but today was a brilliant way to get some strength in without dragging the boys up another hill 🤭 it's a balancing act isn't it? It was good fun though, and we've got jelly legs now 🥴🤣 That also takes us up to 804hrs on the #1000hoursoutside challenge so far this year 🌿 I'm off to look for more bike trail options for our next trip, any recommendations? #anoutdoorsfamily #tinybigadventure #MyTiso #familyadventures #neverstopexploring #kidsoutside #wildflowers
